What computer requirements do I need for online courses?

The minimum internet speed that I need to do the training online:

You need to have a fixed line broadband connection or wireless internet connection with at least 512kbs or (0.5mbs) You can  test your internet connection speed  www.speedtest.net   before you enrol.
 

Can I do online training on an IPad/IPhone?

YES!!!  All of our courses (except the National Unit Responsible Service of Alcohol) are now compatible with Iphones and Ipads. Do your training anywhere, anytime!

Can I do online training on a Mac computer?

Yes, our online training is a web based and works on ALL browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and others. It even works on your iphone or ipad!

Do I need to install software?

In order to view your certificate you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. You can download this for free at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

This is the only software you will need. Our courses are 100% online and are compatible with all internet browsers. You can even complete your training on your iphone or ipad.

How do I clear my temporary files?
How do I log out of my course but make sure that my answers have been saved so that I can restart when I am ready?

If you have commenced your course you need to click the 'close' button on the top right hand corner of your training, this will bring you back to ‘My CFT courses’ page. Simply log out by clicking on ‘log out’ at the top right hand side. If you do not wish to do your training in one sitting you can log back in from any computer. Also a different user can train on the same computer and it will resume where they left off too.

When you want to recommence your training log in at https://my.cft.com.au  using your username and password and simply click back into the section you were up to.

My course enrolment email is missing, how can I find it?

Please check your "spam" or "junk" email folder for the email with your course enrolment codes. If you find the email in there you will need to move it to the "inbox" for the links to work (this is a security thing). You can either drag and drop the email or right click and choose "move to . . .” then select the ‘in box’. If you cannot find the email please contact support and they will confirm the address for you so that you can use your username and password to login.
