FAQ's for Completing Online Training

General:

I can't find my course enrolment email, can you help?

Alot of email programs move these kinds of emails to the "junk email" folder, so it's a good idea to check  your "spam" or "junk" email folder for the email with your user name and password. If you find the email in there you will need to move it to the "inbox" for the links to work (this is a security thing). You can either drag and drop the email or right click and choose "move to . . .” then select the ‘in box’. If you still cannot find your email please contact support so they can confirm that  your email address is correct in the system and they can then resend it for you.

How do I log-out of my course but make sure that my answers have been saved so that I can restart when I am ready?

Food Safety:

How long does the online food safety unit take to study?

The online training and assessment modules take approximately 4 hours to complete, although most people don’t complete them in one session. The program allows you to do a little or as much as you want. When you have finished your session please “log out” then it remembers where you are up to each time you log back in. The online training is 100% online and you receive your certificate immediately upon completion.

What types of assessment will there be in food safety training and where?

Each online section of the training has a set of assessments relating to that section; these are either multiple choice or industry specific case study questions which assess your knowledge. You are allowed four attempts at each section, if you fail after four attempts, you simply need to contact our helpful support team. We will ensure you understand the question and that you have the knowledge to correctly answer the question and then allow further attempts for you. You will not have to re-pay!

Is my old food safety certificate still valid?

Nationally recognised Statement of Attainments (certificates) do not have expiry date; however there is a requirement that qualifications are ‘current’. Certificates must contain a nationally-recognised unit code appropriate to your industry.

Contact your council to check if they will accept the code and the date of your certificate.
