How can I get online assistance?

How do I get my Certificate?

Once you complete the course (all sections 'competent') click on "My Certificate" link on the top of your page, then follow the prompts.

You will be asked to complete a quick questionnaire (feedback required by AQTF) and so that we can continue to improve the course as others before you have done.

A nationally recognised certificate for the industry sector you undertook is provided as a PDF file which you can print out at the end of the training or login from another computer, or print and/or save later.  You can log back anytime after completing your online training to access your certificate/s.
 

How long does the food safety course take to complete?

Each course takes approximately 4 hours to complete, although most people don’t complete them in one go. The course allows you to do a little or as much as you want – just work your way through the workbook and complete the assessment and return to CFT.  Fax/email/post your assessment to our office.  We will contact you if we need additional information.  Your Statement of Attainment (certificate) is issued within one business day.

Whether you train online, in class or by correspondence, the assessment process is designed to meet the requirements of the nationally recognised units.

For Food Safety online, you will have a set of assessment tasks, which include industry-based case studies and short answer questions.The training is now 100% online!

What types of assessment will there be in online food safety training?

There are industry specific multiple choice answers throughout the course as well as case study questions which assess your knowledge learnt throughout your training.

The training is 100% online and your Statement of Attainment (certificate) is available for download as a PDF file immediately upon completion.

Can I get a follow workplace hygiene course or the food safety supervisor certificate within a week?

Go to our food Safety courses  where you can enrol and pay online by credit card and begin your training online right away. Our courses are 100% online and your certificate will be available for download as a PDF file immediately upon completion of your training. 

Is my old food safety certificate still valid?

Nationally recognised Statement of Attainments (certificates) do not have expiry date; however there is a requirement that qualifications are ‘current’. Certificates must contain a nationally-recognised unit code appropriate to your industry.

How do I log out of my course but make sure that my answers have been saved so that I can restart when I am ready?

If you have commenced your course you need to click the 'close' button on the top right hand corner of your training, this will bring you back to ‘My CFT courses’ page. Simply log out by clicking on ‘log out’ at the top right hand side. If you do not wish to do your training in one sitting you can log back in from any computer. Also a different user can train on the same computer and it will resume where they left off too.

When you want to recommence your training log in at https://my.cft.com.au  using your username and password and simply click back into the section you were up to.

My course enrolment email is missing, how can I find it?

Please check your "spam" or "junk" email folder for the email with your course enrolment codes. If you find the email in there you will need to move it to the "inbox" for the links to work (this is a security thing). You can either drag and drop the email or right click and choose "move to . . .” then select the ‘in box’. If you cannot find the email please contact support and they will confirm the address for you so that you can use your username and password to login.
 

Are there additional costs involved?
The enrolment fee is the only cost there are no hidden charges. If you make a mistake you will be given an opportunity to re-do the assessment, online trainer support is available from 7am to 10pm EST 7 days. There is no additional charge for one-on-one phone support, re-assessment or re-submission of an assignment.
 
No need to pay again, if you fail - just contact our friendly support staff to assist you and you can do it again!
Language, Literacy & Numeracy - do you need assistance?

CFT is committed to helping all students succeed in completing our courses and assessments.

Anyone with language, literacy and/or numeracy issues will be given assistance to successfully complete the courses - this can be by using alternative training material using pictures rather than words, oral assessment and allowing people to bring someone to assist with interpretation of language.
