MYSTERY surrounds a salmonella outbreak at a takeaway restaurant possibly linked to the death of an elderly man.

Nineteen people fell ill after eating pizza at Rizzo's Pizza in Ballarat, including a man, 82, who later died.

More than 40kgs of contaminated Salami is circulating in Southest Queensland, health authorities have warned.
Chabi Salami sold at Queensland farmers markets has been recalled by health authorities after itw as found to contain high levels of staphylococcus bateria, which can cause nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhoea.
