Kids crave healthy food

Kids are increasingly more curious about what is in their food - on the back of popular cooking shows like Masterchef Australia and Jamie Oliver's food Revolution.

Somerset College Chef Dion Peters said children were even asking for recipes for healthy foods and snacks, such as muesli bars.

He said it was easy for schools to provide health food, rather than provide processed foods served in many tuckshops.
