I need a RSG certificate to get work in the Qld gaming industry what course do I have to?

You need to do the Queensland OLGR RSG course (full course) which takes under 4 hours to complete. 100% onlin - you can even complete it on your iphone or ipad!

I have a national RSG certificate that I got between 1 Oct 2009 and 1 Oct 2010 how do I get it extended to 1 July 2013?

For existing employees as at 1 Oct 2010, you may apply to OLGR directly  for an extension through until 1 July 2013 if you completed your RSG national certificate any time between 1 Oct 2009 and 1 Oct 2010 with either unit SITHGAM006A or THHADG03B.

You will need to submit a copy of the statement of attainment and lodge with the ‘Application to recognise national accreditation form’ – a $20 fee will be charged (this is not through CFT QLD).

Note 1:   OLGR must receive this application before 30 April 2011
Note 2:   If you are not employed with current employer as at 1 Oct 2010 then you need to do the OLGR RSG full course.

I've finshed my online training, how do I get m RSG Certificate?

Once you complete the course, (all sections marked 'competent') you simply need to click on the "My Certificate" link on the top of your page, then follow the prompts.

For the OLGR RSG course you receive two certificates.

1.     OLGR RSG Course Certificate which is required to work in Qld, and
2.     Nationally recognised certificate unit code SITHGAM006A

Certificates are provided as a PDF file which you can print out at the end of the training or login from another computer and print later or save and print.

For the Bridging course you get the OLGR RSG Course Certificate which is required to work in Qld. You can print off once you have sent CFT your previous other state or territory or national unit RSG certificate by email to cftqld@gmail.com fax: 07 56770622 or mail PO Box 21, Palm Beach Qld 4221.

How do I work in Qld if I have a national RSG, or other state/territory RSG certificate?

You can do the OLGR RSG Bridging course which will upgrade you to the RSG Responsible Service of Gambling course.  Once you have enrolled you need to either fax/email/mail your other RSG certificate to CFT QLD prior to printing your Queensland OLGR RSG Course Certificate.

How do I log out of my course but make sure that my answers have been saved so that I can restart when I am ready?

If you have commenced your course you need to click the 'close' button on the top right hand corner of your training, this will bring you back to ‘My CFT courses’ page. Simply log out by clicking on ‘log out’ at the top right hand side. If you do not wish to do your training in one sitting you can log back in from any computer. Also a different user can train on the same computer and it will resume where they left off too.

When you want to recommence your training log in at https://my.cft.com.au  using your username and password and simply click back into the section you were up to.

My course enrolment email is missing, how can I find it?

Please check your "spam" or "junk" email folder for the email with your course enrolment codes. If you find the email in there you will need to move it to the "inbox" for the links to work (this is a security thing). You can either drag and drop the email or right click and choose "move to . . .” then select the ‘in box’. If you cannot find the email please contact support and they will confirm the address for you so that you can use your username and password to login.
 

Are there additional costs involved?
The enrolment fee is the only cost there are no hidden charges. If you make a mistake you will be given an opportunity to re-do the assessment, online trainer support is available from 7am to 10pm EST 7 days. There is no additional charge for one-on-one phone support, re-assessment or re-submission of an assignment.

Anyone with language, literacy and/or numeracy issues will be given assistance to successfully complete the courses - this can be by using alternative training material using pictures rather than words, oral assessment and allowing people to bring someone to assist with interpretation of language.
