Katrina Hodginson, NSW Minister for Primary Industries and Small Business, launched the National Food Allergy Awareness Week in Sydney.
The awareness week is aimed to draw attention to the increasing allergy problems which affect many Australian families.
10% of children under the age of 5years in Australia have food allergies and Australia is rated amongst the highest in the world for allergies.
Adult allergy ratings are also steadily increasing.
