The NSW Food Authority has chosen Lismore to host its retail food safety forum, one of a series of regular events it holds across NSW to give local food businesses a chance to meet face to face with the local council and the Food Authority and other retailers. The meeting will be held in Lismore on August 27.
The meeting will outline ways for retail and hospitality food businesses to manage their duties around allergens in food and update on the new material in the Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) training requirement that improves on food handler skills and knowledge.
The session will also provide information on Scores on Doors, a star based food hygiene and safety rating program.
CFT QLD provide Food Safety Supervisor Training online for NSW. To book a NSW FSS course check out our website or call our office 1300 775 155. We can also come onsite for group training for Northern Rivers food businesses.
